Summary
Orillera works entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that the app talks to. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technology of any kind. This policy explains exactly what the app touches on your device and why.
What the app stores, and where
Everything below stays on your iPhone or iPad. None of it is sent anywhere.
| Item | Stored | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress, hauls, coins and unlocks | Local SQLite database inside the app | So your tides, atados and upgrades are remembered between sessions |
| Settings (sound, music, haptics, reminder) | Local device storage (UserDefaults) | So your preferences persist |
| Stall-sign photo | Local app storage only | Shown on your in-game roadside stall and on haul cards you choose to share |
Camera and photo library
If you choose to add a photo to your in-game stall sign, Orillera asks for permission to use the camera or your photo library at that moment, and only for that purpose. The photo is kept on your device inside the app's storage. It is never uploaded anywhere. You can remove it at any time from within the app. If you share a haul card as an image, that export is created on your device and handed to the system share sheet you choose — Orillera does not see where you send it.
Notifications
Orillera can remind you once a day that the (simulated, in-game) tide is low. This is entirely optional: the app asks for notification permission only when you turn the reminder on in Settings, and the reminder is scheduled locally on your device. No notification content or token ever leaves your device.
No third parties
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters that phone home, and no third-party libraries that collect data. It does not use a web view and does not load content from the internet. The tides, wind and swell you see in La Caleta are simulated on your device for entertainment and are not real tide predictions.
Children's privacy
Orillera does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all. The app is suitable for a general audience.
Your choices
- Deny or revoke camera/photo access at any time in iOS Settings — the stall sign simply goes back to its default look.
- Turn the low-tide reminder off at any time in the app's Settings screen.
- Delete the app to remove all locally stored data immediately.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example if a future version adds a feature that collects data — we will update this page and the in-app "What's new" notes before that version ships.
